About the Business
Jodis Beautique was founded in 2009 by Jodi Speed having completed two years studying H.N.C. in Beauty Therapy at Elmwood College in Cupar, Fife. Whilst there, she won beauty student of the year and Fife's Federation of Small businesses New Business of the Year. Jodi has sited her beauty and massage room in Something Different Hairdressers on Main Street in Guardbridge, St Andrews, Fife. The Salons owner was Elizabeth Speed, Jodis Grandmother, however Liz recently retired, 1st August 2014, and has left the running of the Hairdressing business to Jodi. Lois, Jodis sister, also works in the salon as apprentice hairdresser, although she is almost fully trained now. Liz opened the Something Different Hairdressing Salon in 1981 and so has been open for over 30 years now.
