About the Business
Sue Carter is an award winning beauty expert, and entrepreneur, with over 25 years' experience in the beauty industry. She initially trained in London, where she worked as a make-up artist for Lancome at Harvey Nichols. Whilst there she won the prominent Golden Rose award in recognition of her skills in make-up application and beauty, and she was chosen to do the make-up for Kylie Minogue while on a visit to the store.
In 2012 the salon moved into larger premises, significantly expanding capacity, allowing Image to offer a larger range of treatments, as well as offering training in the new Image Academy.
Sue strives to push the boundaries of what is expected of a beauty salon, and her achievements were recently acknowledged when Image Salon won the most prestigious award in the country - UK Salon of the Year Award - from trade magazine Pro-Beauty.
