About the Business
Ellen Conlin Hair and Beauty have been operating from their base in Glasgow's West End and Giffnock in Glasgow's Southside for 15 and 8 years respectively, having achieved numerous awards for their achievements in Glasgow Hairdressing and Glasgow Hairdressing Business competitions, both nationally and regionally.
The business is owned and run by Ellen Conlin-Main and Ken Main, Ellen has been a hairdresser for 4 decades and met Ken 16 years ago, when he was a National Account Manager for McCain (GB). They married in July 2000 having opened the business in Feb 2000.
Salon number two in Glasgow's Giffnock opened just prior to the financial downturn and things were hard with little growth, however never giving up Ellen and Ken battled hard to keep the new salon afloat - the Giffnock salon, with their young and highly talented team is now growing dramatically.
